What’s New at itgroove – November 2017

December 1, 2017

Can you believe that December is here already? Keep reading if you’d like to catch up with what itgroove did in the month of November…

We’ve been working with the Strathcona Regional District on a custom portal in SharePoint Online. Our team has embraced SharePoint Online’s modern experiences by using the SharePoint Framework to create custom web parts and apps. Even the out of box web parts in SharePoint Online have come a long way in terms of looks and how easy they are to implement. We’re excited that we can finally customize modern experiences (such as lists and document libraries), especially to incorporate custom global navigation.

Another thing we’ve noticed gaining traction in the tech world is Office 365 and phone systems. If you’d like to know how you can get it working for your organization, we can show you how. For more info, go to our Business Class Cloud Phones page on the itgroove website.

Two of our team members have been promoted: Matt Longpre is now Design Team Lead, and Noel Feliciano is now Development Team Lead. Congrats, guys!

We also participated in Movember last month. If you want to see the moustaches that some of the men of itgroove grew, well… you’ll have to watch our November 2017 video newsletter. If you’d like, you can still donate via itgroove.net/movember.

Finally, we’d love to see you at the Christmas Craft Beer Show today and tomorrow. Sean will be there drumming with his band SuperSauce, who are the closing entertainment both nights.
